Our minimum part-load is 1m³ at a part-load surcharge; full-load pricing kicks in from 6m³. For very small jobs (under 1m³ — paths, post bases, small repairs) volumetric is usually cheaper, so we’ll happily quote both so you can choose.
Same-day if you book before 11am and the depot has capacity. Next-day is the standard slot — confirmed in writing within 30 minutes of your enquiry. Saturday and early-morning slots are available with 48 hours’ notice.
C20 for patios and shed bases. C25 for domestic footings. C30 for driveways and garage floors. C35 for heavily-loaded slabs. C40 for commercial bases and structural foundations. If you’re unsure, send us your structural engineer’s spec or call 0800 001 6147 — we’ll match the right grade.
BS EN 206 sets a 90-minute discharge window from batching. We dispatch from a Yorkshire depot so you get the full window on Yorkshire and North West sites — not 20 minutes of it. If you have a complex pour, we can add a retarder admix to extend the working time.
Yes — every load. The driver hands the batch ticket, the conformity certificate and the BS 8500 designation slip to your site manager on arrival. If your QS or building control needs anything additional, request it on the order and we’ll print it.
Over-order: anything that comes off the truck is yours — we don’t take it back, but the lorry can wait while you find space, and we’ll suggest where to use the extra. Under-order: another load is the only option, which adds time. If you don’t know your volume confidently, our volumetric service lets you pay only for what you pour.
